English Language Learners

The Learn More Center’s English Language Learners class (formerly E.S.L) is a very unique experience for students and staff. Our class is designed to help people who come to the United States learn more than just the English language; they learn to be confident in their new surroundings. Being in a new country and culture, whether it is temporary or permanent, can be anxiety-producing, and when you add on the task of learning a language, students can feel overwhelmed and deflated. Learn More Center provides an atmosphere of comfort and acceptance so our English Language Learners can feel free of judgement. Over the nearly 19 years of our program, we have seen students from: Mexico, Peru, Venezuela, Honduras, Ukraine, China, Cambodia, India and Japan. Learn More Center’s success is measured not only by educational gains, but by the freedom students feel when they are able to communicate in their new society. Students have gone on to better jobs, college and even citizenship. We are proud to say we were a part of that. Class schedules may change so that we can meet the needs of students. Call David to see about getting started. Email is also an option or you can fill out our registration on this site. If you are scared, that means you are challenging yourself and Learn More Center is here to help however we can.

Looking for a new beginning in a career path? Want to enhance your skills and gain industry-recognized vocational certifications? Learn More Center and our community partners can help! Skills training, career exploration, and employability coaching can help strengthen your résumé and open doors to expanded employment opportunities.
